Terms of Service
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms apply when a business creates a MapleDesk account or uses the MapleDesk AI receptionist. By using the service you agree to them.
The service
MapleDesk answers calls on your behalf, records the caller's request and shows it to you as a lead. The AI receptionist records appointment requests; it does not confirm bookings unless a scheduling system you connect has confirmed availability. You remain responsible for following up with your customers.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe and make sure the business information you enter is accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Calls, recordings and consent
You are responsible for telling callers they are speaking with an AI assistant where required, and for any call-recording notice your local laws require. MapleDesk's default greeting can be edited in Settings to include the notice you need.
Text messages
You agree to only send texts through MapleDesk to people who have contacted your business or agreed to hear from you, and to honour opt-out requests. Message and data rates may apply to recipients.
Acceptable use
Don't use MapleDesk for unlawful, deceptive or abusive calls or messages, or try to access other businesses' data.
Availability
We work to keep MapleDesk available, but phone networks and third-party providers can fail. The service is provided "as is", and emergencies should always have a backup route, such as your on-call number.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, MapleDesk is not liable for lost business, missed calls or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Changes and ending your account
We may update these terms and will post the new version here. You can stop using MapleDesk at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
